Our Leadership

Wendy Albertini

Founder, President & CEO

Wendy Albertini is the founder and CEO of Merit321. Wendy was born and raised in Merritt Island, FL while her father worked as an engineer in the NASA Space Program. Merritt Island proudly posts a welcome sign that states Welcome to Merritt Island, Where Dreams are Launched. Wendy established Merit321’s reputation with her father in mind who embodied the dedication, ethics, and focus needed when shooting for the stars.  This resulted in Merit321’s tagline of Where Careers are Launched.

Prior to founding Merit321, Wendy spent twenty years working in a wide variety of areas within the healthcare industry, including clinical, healthcare IT and healthcare consulting where she advised healthcare practices on process improvement for growth and efficiency. After leaving healthcare, Wendy worked a decade in the M&A business assisting a wide range of clients, including those in the aerospace/defense and government services fields, with all steps of the mergers and acquisitions process.

Outside of the workplace, Wendy is an avid volunteer. She has held leadership roles within both the Greater Washington DC/Virginia chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, and the metroBethesda Rotary and she is a current board member of The Dwelling Place. Wendy's volunteer work also includes: KIND (Kids in Need Distributors), Bethesda Cares, and Wider Circle.
